Exercise 1 - Initial System Configuration
Exercise Goal
To be familiar with the basic configuration and import tasks performed during Charge Manager implementation.
General
You are about to start the Charge Module implementation.
The inventory module and procedure types have not yet been configured (you will configure them along with the charge module configurations)
You have received all the required spreadsheets from the customer (ICD-9, CPT, Charge Master (CDM), Inventory and procedure types). All the files appear in file CM_SampleSpreadsheets.RAR.
Instructions

| 1 | Activate the Charge Module | From the general setting tab in MMC |
| 2 | Import the CPT and ICD files | |
| 3 | Import the CDM (Charge Master) file | |
| 4 | Import the inventory file with Charge codes | |
| 5 | Import the procedure types file | |
| 6 | Validate the configurations | Make sure the codes are imported in the MMC, procedure types and inventory module appropriately. |
*After each step make sure the process was completed successfully and the codes appear appropriately.
